Stephen O. Vaughan, JD PhD

Stephen Vaughan holds a BS in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill and an MA and PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Johns Hopkins University. He recently completed his JD with honors in the evening law program at North Carolina Central University.
Steve has worked in the specialty gas industry since 1993, starting as a research chemist in the R&D division of Scott Specialty Gases specializing in reactive gas packaging passivation technology development. His original work in this area has led, in large part, to the conceptualization and launch of Custom Gas Solutions in 2001.
Steve is always available an available resource for customers regarding all aspects of specialty gas - from standards requirements to product development to specialized consulting.
